Essential Information for Authors

Cambridge Academic is continuously searching for authors to write on the latest academic subjects.

If you are an academic working in one of the fields listed on the left, or have direct industrial experience that you feel will make a valuable textbook, then we are keen to hear from you.
We regret that we are unable to consider unsolicited manuscripts. However if you wish us to consider your idea you may either:

1) Contact us directly to discuss the matter further or;
2) In the first instance, send an email or post a CD or disk with the following:

• Your name
• Details of how we can contact you
• A suggested title
• A brief resume of the manuscript (no more than 1500 words)
• Estimated number of pages
• A brief curriculum vitae
• Table of contents
• Sample chapter

Only one disc should be submitted for each manuscript, and each disc should contain only one file.

All files should, where possible, be in Microsoft Word (PC) format.

The filename must consist of the author's surname with the appropriate file extension (i.e. Smith.doc)

All submissions will be acknowledged, however we regret that we will be unable to return your disc.
